Everything We Know about the GMC Hummer EV3X

It was an exciting day when GMC announced that it would soon be making electric vehicles, and we’re now a lot closer to these models hitting the market. Here’s what we know so far about the GMC Hummer EV3X, which is one of four GMC Hummer EV trims.

It Has an Astounding Amount of Power

While the two lower trims – the EV2 and EV2X – will give you 625 horsepower and 7,400 lb-ft of torque, which are pretty great numbers, the EV3X takes those up to 800 horsepower and 9,500 lb-ft of torque. Those aren’t the best the GMC Hummer EV can do, however. The top Edition 1 trim offers 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque.

You Won’t Need to Charge Very Often

When you drive an excellent vehicle like a GMC Hummer, you don’t want to have to stop to fuel up too frequently. The GMC Hummer EV3X has a driving range of up to 300 miles when its three batteries are fully charged, so you’ll be able to go long distances without needing a charge.

It Comes with Some Exciting Features

Have you ever driven a car that can move in a direction other than backwards and forwards? No? Well, thanks the Crab Walk function in the GMC Hummer EV3X, you’ll be able to travel diagonally using four-wheel steering. It also comes with Extract Mode, which you will appreciate when you take your vehicle off-road. This will increase the suspension up to six inches, so you’ll have more ground clearance.
